  2. A deduction of GBP 750 will be made and the balance refunded in the case of visa being refused for one or more of the following reasons:

b) Visa has been granted to the student and subsequent to that, the student does not wish to pursue the course.

c) Student started attending the programme and later decides to discontinue the course for any reason and as CAMS College reserved the place exclusively for the student.

4. Students who are appealing against refusal of a student visa are not eligible for any refund until the outcome of the appeal is known.

5. Except in the case of cancellation of a course by CAMS College, or of students from overseas being refused a student visa, no student is entitled to a refund of fees (Refer to points 1,2 and 3 above). Applications must be made on the CAMS College refund application form (available by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 7. Students who have been refused a refund are entitled to, on request, a written statement of the reasons for the refusal, and are entitled on receiving this to appeal with a fresh application for refund. If this appeal is also refused, no further applications will be considered.

8. All refund applications will be considered by the CAMS Admission Committee. A minimum of 4 weeks is needed for the processing of refund applications.

9. The CAMS College management reserves the right to make any changes to the refund policy.

10. In all refund cases, CAMS retain £250 of any fees paid, to cover administrative costs.

Course Cancellation Policy

The College of Accountancy and Management Studies (CAMS) will ensure that course cancellations do not happen (historically CAMS have never cancelled a course as we always do proper course planning so that there will be sufficient numbers and the cancellation of courses at short notice will not happen).

On the unlikely occasion of a course being cancelled due to low numbers, we will ensure that this does not hinder the students’ timely progression to the completion of the programme. Please find below the salient points of the policy:

  • We will examine the CAMS admission history and anticipate courses likely to be affected by low numbers. When we identify that there is a potential for low enrolment numbers, we will accommodate the students who might register for those potential low-enrolment courses in acceptable alternative courses. We will take into consideration the days and times that the alternative courses are offered, so the affected students will not have difficulty switching on short notice to alternative courses scheduled at very different times than the cancelled course.
  • In the event of a course being cancelled, the student will be notified as soon as the change is made; normally a minimum of two weeks’ notice is given. The student can then either apply the fees to another course, or receive a refund or credit note for the course fees paid. If a course is rescheduled, the student will be notified as soon as the change is made.
  • We will use a reasonable time frame (no less than two weeks before the first day of classes) to determine when to cancel a class.
  • We will notify affected students and the faculty as soon as the action is taken. We will work with the affected students to ensure that they find acceptable alternatives or we will refund the fees.
  • If the cancelled course or subjects are required for completing the programme and the affected students are nearing completion of the programme, we will ensure that the students can be accommodated in the class the following term.
  • We will accommodate all students affected by course cancellation, and give special attention to students with disabilities who might have chosen a class on this basis, and the international students who are required by the UKBA to attend specific minimum number of hours.
