In an economic climate where many careers look bleak, the UNTWO are projecting that the tourism industry will continue to grow by an average of 4% each year. London is one of the most visited tourist destinations with 14.6 million visitors in 2010 making it the second highest visited city in the world Where better to start your studies in the tourism and hospitality industry.
The CTH Postgraduate Diploma, with the option of a further 60 credit dissertation with the University of Sunderland culminating in an MSc in Tourism and Hospitality, will prepare you for a rewarding career. Your studies will equip you for a management position in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, with a strategic understanding of current issues surrounding the industry and a critical understanding of academic theory and practical application.

As part of the programme of study you will have the opportunity to engage in a work placement as an assessed component of your course. The Postgraduate Diploma assessment methods reflect the Level Seven outcomes required for this level of qualification. Given the broad and highly varied nature of the hospitality and tourism industry, you will need to demonstrate the higher-level skills and qualities specified in the Level Seven outcomes within a vocational context
Assessment involves investigative assignments, presentations and action research activities.
The MSc is assessed by dissertation.
